COMO Cocoa Island

COMO Cocoa Island, an intimate private Maldives island resort is located 30 kilometers & a 35 minute speedboat ride form Male in the South Malé Atoll.
With just 33 villas, all of which are overwater, you will feel like you are on your own private tropical island with discreet and personalised service. Spend lazy days on your deck with a book, you can have a escape from the norm and just dip into a yoga class, a fishing trip, a sunset cruise or dive with parrot fish, rays and sharks.

If you have been lucky enough to stay in another COMO hotel before you will be familiar with the low-key feel, the simplicity and minimalist style, bleached woods and white muslin. You will have been drawn back to a previous stay if you couldn’t resist taking home Como Shambala toiletries. INVIGORATE is our favourite COMO Shambhala product line which uses essential oils; invigorating eucalyptus and cooling peppermint.

For the wellness enthusiasts, the Como Shambala Spa is a destination in its own right. At this nurturing island retreat the therapies are Asian-based, physical fitness classes and a Pilates studio, as well as a fitness centre and airy yoga studio, where you can practice mindful exercises with views of the island. To complement the wellness experience, there is daily schedule of activities, including yoga and Pilates alongside a range of other wellness pursuits.

We don’t envisage this island being ideal for families as the facilities for children are limited but if you want to get away from winter blues and in search of yourself or Nemo, a romantic getaway, this is the island for you.

The Travel Gallery Take - we fell in love with this lovely island because of the simple pleasures that you can enjoy. It encapsulates what we believe a Tropical island paradise should be with spectacularly clear waters, powder white sand, and carefree, understated luxury. With just one main restaurant, the chefs will be happy to accommodate a special meal which is not menu.
